Growing Strawberry Plants in Pots
For best results, we suggest Early Planting; however, late frost will not harm your strawberry plants. Do not use mulch around strawberries; only high-quality dry straw! Our strawberries are stored in temperature-controlled storage to ensure the highest quality plants and your planting success.
Weed all the grass, 4 feet around.
Do not rely on a dripping irrigation system while your plants are not established, especially during a hot period. Water by hand!
Exotic Fruits:
Lingonberries, Elderberry, Goji, Aronias, and Gooseberries are a unique addition to your garden.
Gooseberries cannot be shipped to Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, or West Virginia.
Please, send an email to get info about growing Strawberries and other exotic fruits.
We advise you to order early to ensure availability! We ship all year round.
Do not re-pot immediately, let them stay in pots to feel more comfortable in their new location. When you see they've started growing, it is time to replant!
