Flordia Rose Rabbiteye Blueberry

A relatively new introduction from the Southeast, Florida Rose is a spectacular selection of the Rabbiteye blueberry with bright pink to rose-colored fruits, larger than Pink Lemonade and ripen in a wide range of colors. Florida Rose bears heavy crops, ripens early in the season, and only requires 300 chill hours. It is an excellent selection for growers in warmer climates that often don’t receive enough chill hours to get many blueberry varieties to ripen. Requires cross-pollination with another Rabbiteye blueberry, but Pink Lemonade or any other blueberry with rabbiteye in its lineage should make a good pollinizer.
